Andrea Heston LMFT-S

Registered Play Therapist Supervisor

Hi there and welcome! I’m Andrea and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor in Texas. I am currently providing telehealth services to those residing in the state of Texas working with individual adults, teens, and preteens. I don’t believe in a one size fits all mode of therapy; however, I do pull heavily from my training in family systems.  I believe that individuals are impacted both positively and negatively by the relationships, social and cultural constructs, and other systems surrounding them. I am also a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community and work hard to make sure our office is an inclusive, safe space for all.

My mission is to help clients see the good in themselves, feel confident in their abilities, to discover their passions, and accomplish their goals. I am especially passionate about working with women who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, creating boundaries in their relationships with others, and finding their voice.

As a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor I have specialized training in childhood mental health and development. While I am not currently offering in person play therapy services I am offering coaching to parents to help them find the joy in parenting by providing brain based and attachment oriented parenting guidance. As the mom of a 9 and 5 year old, I know how beneficial it can be to have someone to support you in your parenting journey.

Andrea's Current Rates:

$150 for initial session

$120 for 50 minute follow up sessions

I am currently an in network provider with Cigna,

Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO,

United Healthcare, Aetna, and Ambetter.

Hi, I'm Noelle! I'm passionate about helping children, teens and adults be the best versions of themselves. I believe that all people have an innate tendency toward growth. However, growth can be impacted by life events we may not have control over. Noelle will work with you to explore any barriers and roadblocks that have come your way, while also helping you get to know yourself and your strengths. Noelle supports neurodiversity by providing individualized care. Not all brains work the same- and that’s okay, and even great! Noelle uses acceptance, validation and provides advocacy skills where needed.

However, for children, it is hard for them to translate their thoughts and feelings verbally. Children can better express their thoughts and feelings in their natural language – PLAY, using toys as their words. Often, “bad behavior” is just a child’s way of telling us they have an unmet need or don't have enough coping skills. My goal is to interpret the child's play to parents and give them better tools and skills to help their children and family. Neurodivergent affirming care in children will look like providing psychoeducation to parents, raising the child’s self-esteem through play therapy, and helping parents navigate the school system in a way that supports, rather than tries to change, children.
