Hi there and welcome! I’m Andrea, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor based in Houston, Texas. I provide telehealth services to clients throughout Texas, Louisiana, and Florida, as well as in-person sessions in the Clear Lake City area of Houston. I work with individual adults, teens, and preteens, and I love helping people through the messy, complicated, “why is life like this?” moments. I also offer supervision for LMFT Associates in Texas who are working towards their full licensure. If that’s you, I’d love to chat!

My counseling style is all about getting the full picture of your life—not just what’s happening in your mind, but the people, patterns, and environments that have shaped you. Using a family systems approach, we look at how old relationship patterns might still be running the show. Maybe you became the “fixer,” the “quiet one,” or the “keeper of the peace” somewhere along the way. Together, we explore where those roles came from and how to create healthier, more balanced ways of relating now.

I also pull from feminist theory, which means I view you as the expert on your own lived experience. I’m not here to lecture or hand out generic advice like “just think positive!” (spoiler: that rarely works). Instead, therapy with me is collaborative and empowering. We’ll look at how things like expectations, gender roles, cultural messages, and power dynamics may be weighing on you—and work toward helping you feel more confident, authentic, and in control of your own story.

It’s also incredibly important to me that my practice is inclusive and affirming. I’m an LGBTQ+ ally, and I’m committed to creating a space where all identities, orientations, and family structures feel respected and supported. Whether you or your teen are navigating identity questions, coming out, or dealing with unsupportive environments, this is a place where you are welcome, valued, and not expected to explain your existence.

And because healing happens in connection, our relationship in the therapy room matters. My goal is for you to feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood—like you can exhale and finally say the things you don’t say anywhere else. Together, we’ll build insight, strengthen communication and boundaries, and work toward healthier relationships—with others and with yourself.
